What Is HYROX ?

Hyrox is a fitness race that combines running with functional exercises like rowing, sled pushes, and wall balls. It’s a full-body test of strength, speed, power, and endurance. #samuihyrox

Who can do HYROX ?

One of the reasons that we are big fans of Hyrox is that it’s a very accessible race that is less intimidating than other big fitness events. It’s certainly not easy, but the movements are not ‘high skill’ exercises which are hard to master. There is no time cap on the event and the team option means that you can share the exercises with another person, offering an easier entry point for those who are nervous to tackle it all alone. Whilst Hyrox is for everyone, if you haven’t trained for a while we recommend a solid 12-week training program to get you up to being ready for the race. A fitness journey for all levels, lots of fun and community based spirit. #kohsamuihyrox

How Do I Join a Class ?

Simply send us a whats ap or just drop in to our 5.30pm sessions. We have daily drop in, 10 pack and monthly rates for residents of Koh Samui, tourists and anyone who wants to come join in the fun.

We have HYROX specific classes daily at 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am Saturdays.

We offer a range of HYROX class formats such as:

SAMUI HYROX BEAST MODE ON : Offering a mix of strength, conditioning and ‘race day’ style formats
SAMUI HYROX STRENGTH : Improve your strength, power and muscular endurance for the race
SAMUI HYROX CONDITIONING : Work on race essentials such as running, SkiErg, Rowing and Wall Balls

What IS THE HYROX Competition goal you will be ready for ?

The HYROX competition starts with a 1 km run, followed by 1 functional workout and repeats 8 times.

The workouts that follow are: 1000 m SkiErg, 50 m Sled Push, 50 m Sled Pull, 80 m Burpee Broad Jump, 1000 m Rowing, 200 m Framers Carry, 100 m Sandbag Lunges, 100 x Wall Balls don’t forget all with a 1k run in-between.
